Thank You!

I wanted to say thank you one more time to everyone who helped me campaign! Having so many people volunteer, donate, put signs in their yard and vote for me meant a lot.

While it's disappointing to lose, especially by such a close margin, there are some gratifying things in the results. Within my district, I finished ahead of most Democrats on the ballot, especially in the more Democratic precincts where I did extremely well. I was able to convince many voters who don't always support Democrats to give me their vote. I'm very happy that I was able to meet so many people and make new friends. It reminded me of what I like so much about this neighborhood.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing next, but I'm going to stay involved in the community. I also plan to rework my campaign blog and keep writing about local politics and issues.

Once again, thank you for your help!

P.S. I collected all my yard signs yesterday, but if anyone sees any still up, please let me know.

Classy move picking up your signs. I don't live in your CB district, but I do travel through it on a daily basis. Thanks for being conscious of the signs and thanks for running a positive campaign.
