Voter Choice

I'm sure its possible to find a reason to challenge the nominating petition of almost any candidate for any office in every election. Some people consider it mean-spirited and in bad taste to attempt knocking your opponent off the ballot by filing an objection over an insignificant technicality. That's why the Republican candidates made sure their objections were all filed by a lawyer instead of using their own names. I don't think we should let Bruce Strom, Joe Bartalomucci and other Republicans off the hook for the petty actions that their party is taking on their behalf.

Apparently, local Republicans are the party that believes in free elections for Iraq, but rigged one-party rule in Springfield. By the way, who did you vote for in the County Clerk's race last November?
